Training and Experience
While practicing at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles in 2004, she was recruited by celebrity plastic surgeon Raj Kanodia, MD, FACS as a senior cosmetic/surgical nurse. Her training with Raj Kanodia, MD, FACS functioned as a fellowship in aesthetics.
Equipped with this skillset, she moved her practice to Austin, Texas in 2012. There, she specialized in cosmetic treatments. Corina’s artistic approach to full face rejuvenation is second to none and she continues to stay on the cutting edge of technology. Adam Villalba, M.D. serves as Medical Director for The Art of Anti-Aging®. Dr. Villalba provides supervision and oversight of the medical treatments to ensure that patients are treated to the highest degree of care.
Medical Director Background
Dr. Villalba grew up in El Paso, Texas. In 2010, he obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at El Paso. Next, he pursued his Medical Doctorate degree at The University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He graduated in 2015.
Following his passion for urgent and emergent patient care, Dr. Villalba specialized in Emergency Medicine at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center El Paso/Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. He served as Chief Resident 2017-2018, while completing his medical residency in 2018. In 2021, he became Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
After two years in private practice, Dr. Villalba took an interest in rural emergency medicine and dedicated himself to treating the underserved populations. He continued his work in emergency rooms in rural Texas, New Mexico and traveled as far as St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Relocating to Austin, Texas in 2021, Dr. Villalba continues to dedicate his medical expertise to patient populations in the underserved areas.
Using his immersive training and experience as a physician, Dr. Villalba prides himself on holistic and personalized patient care.
