A tell-tale sign that you haven’t gotten your recommended 8 hours of sleep is unwanted under-eye bags and dark circles! Tinted moisturizer can help to cover blemishes, spots, uneven skin tone and give your skin a healthy, youthful glow.Adding an eye cream under your tinted moisturizer can help to lighten and brighten your under-eye area. This will help to avoid any dreaded dryness or flakiness, especially in the winter months!Beauty Hack #2: A Bright, Bold Lip and Cheek
If your skin looks dull, book in for a quick lunchtime facial. But meanwhile, bold colored makeup can help take the attention away from your tired eyes. Get out your favorite bright lipstick and blush and instantly revitalize your look!
A little bit of lipstick simply applied can help tie together any look, and if you don’t have time for full face makeup, a dash of lipstick and a dusting of blush can create a simple glow up! Try a different color than what you normally wear, it will distract people and temporarily perk up your mental state.
Beauty Hack #3: Hydrate
If you’re lacking sleep, chances are you may also be dehydrated. You’ll need to hydrate your skin by drinking an adequate amount of water and using the proper moisturizer for your skin twice a day. A good quality, medical grade moisturizer or hydrating serum can help plump up tired, dull and dehydrated skin.
Ensure you drink 8 glasses of water a day, especially when you’re running on empty. Water really is a miracle cure for a lot of pesky problems and helps to hydrate and plump your skin from within! And if you’ve recently had any filler treatments, you’ll know you need to drink adequate water since hyaluronic acid is hydrophilic, water helps plump filler.
