Hyperdilute Radiesse: The Anti-Aging Advantages
Dermal filler Radiesse has a long history of use in aesthetics to restore the lost volume, structure, and support from aging skin. Radiesse, when used in the Hyperdilute form, generates collagen and elastin and can address various issues, including fine lines and wrinkles, volume loss, and skin laxity.
Hyperdilute Radiesse is a technique where the Radiesse dermal filler is highly diluted with saline solution before injection. The advantage of this technique is that it allows for a larger surface area to be covered with a smaller amount of filler, resulting in a more natural-looking result. Top cosmetic experts are using this rejuvenating solution to create firmer, younger-looking skin across the face and body.
How Hyperdilute Radiesse Works
A newer and highly effective use for Radiesse is the technique of hypderdilution. When diluted and injected superficially, Radiesse acts as a collagen stimulating agent. The Hyperdilute Radiesse technique combines the filler with saline and lidocaine, thinning the consistency and increasing the volume of product. The Hyperdilute Radiesse is then injected into the desired area through a thin cannula.
When this diluted mixture gets injected into areas where collagen has been lost, it triggers the body to produce new sets of collagen and elastin. This phenomenon results in a skin rejuvenating treatment that provides a more pronounced and visibly smoother, firmer, younger-looking skin. This treatment is a favorable alternative to surgical intervention such as facelift or neck and décolleté lift.
What areas of the body can I treat with Hyperdilute Radiesse?Almost any area where you have skin laxity and volume loss. The most common treatment areas are:
- Neck and Décolleté
- Inner Upper Arms
- Buttocks
- Mid to lower face
- Abdomen
- Above the knees
The Benefits of Hyperdilute Radiesse
People benefit from Hyperdiluted Radiesse by having tightened and thickened skin and a much-reduced appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and creepiness. In addition, treatments of the décolletage will also help reduce pigmentation caused by sun damage. Overall, there is a remarkable improvement in skin tone, texture, and elasticity.
Our providers can harness the unique biostimulatory, collagen producing power of this technique to:
- Rejuvenate the skin
- Improve texture
- Correct volume loss and wrinkles
- Improve the appearance of cellulite
What to Expect from Hyperdilute Radiesse Treatments
Over time, the benefits of Hyperdilute Radiesse® continue by stimulating your body’s own natural collagen and elastin. You may see an immediate result after treatment, but the collagen stimulating effects of the treatment will take over at three to four weeks post treatment and will continue for up to six months. The results will continue to improve as time goes on and the long-term, persistent new collagen you get to keep.
We recommend three treatments performed four to six weeks apart for optimal results. The number you will need will depend on your overall skin health, amount of skin laxity and volume loss. To maintain results we recommend a follow up treatment approximately once per year.
Is there downtime? What are the side effects?
A topical numbing will be applied during your treatment and the Radiesse® syringe will be mixed with lidocaine for optimum comfort. The treatment is well tolerated with minimal to no downtime. Very mild bruising, swelling and discomfort after treatment may occur. These are temporary and will resolve within a few days.
