What is micro-needling?

Skinpen is a micro-needling device for treating various dermatologic conditions on the face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back.

Topical numbing will be applied to the skin pre-treatment. The procedure takes 15-30 minutes depending on the areas treated. During the treatment it feels like a light sandpaper being moved across the skin. Immediately after there will be a redness to the skin. Healing time depends on the setting used during each session. Downtime can be controlled and adjusted depending on the patients social calendar. Some patients heal completely in as little as 24 hours, while others may take 2-4 days to heal. ​
