Why Radiesse Is My Favorite For Neck, Chest, Arms & Knees
Why is Radiesse my favorite collagen stimulator for skin laxity, wrinkles and texture in the neck, chest, arms and knees?
Hyperdiluted Radiesse is simply Radiesse that is thinned out with a mixture of saline and lidocaine. This diluted mixture is then injected superficially under skin, acting as a skin rejuvenation treatment rather than a volumizer. Radiesse is a collagen stimulator composed of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a water gel.
Once injected, Radiesse provides immediate volume and correction for the face and body. As the CaHA microspheres dissolve, it continues to work by stimulating new collagen growth for long-lasting results. Radiesse is not just a filler, it also addresses skin quality, which is a game changer and differentiates it from hyaluronic acid fillers. Think of this filler as scaffolding; it’s a strong structure that holds the skin taut and is a closer chemical structure to bone.
What does Hyperdiluted Radiesse Do?
With Hyperdilute Radiesse, we gradually tighten and thicken targeted areas of the skin, revealing a smoother, firmer appearance on the face, neck, chest and body. This helps to improve crepiness, skin laxity, sun damage, tone and elasticity, all without adding unnatural looking volume!
Hyper-diluted Radiesse can also be used to treat cellulite. By injecting hyper-diluted Radiesse into areas with moderate to severe cellulite, the skin is plumped out, reducing the appearance of dimpling.
The skin rejuvenating effects of this treatment are pronounced and visible, with collagen and elastin production starting as early as 4 weeks after injection. This results in long-term skin tightening with progressive natural dermal thickening. Once Hyperdilute Radiesse is injected, new collagen is stimulated, with results peaking at 90 days after each treatment.
To reach your goal of smoother, plumped, more elastic and firmer skin, we will perform a series of 3 Hyperdilute treatments in the same area, spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. Maintenance sessions are then once a year, after the initial treatment series.
Areas of Hyperdilute Radiesse treatments:
- Face
- Neck
- Chest
- Upper inner arms
- Forearms
- Buttocks
- Knees
- Thighs
This treatment can be used in combination with fillers, lasers, and other modalities to give you the best outcome. A custom treatment plan will be discussed to give you the results you desire.
There can be mild bruising, swelling, and discomfort after, if any, and most clients return to their normal activities immediately following the treatment.
